i'm maze! i started learning html in 2025 as part of my quest to do everything. eventually, i want to learn other code languages and make a video game. some of my other hobbies include writing, sketching, photography, rollerblading, and playing the guitar. i really love science, especially chemistry, astronomy, and physics. i'm also a sucker for old tech and physical media. sometimes i'll go urbexing, but my main adventures happen on hikes (bonus points if i find something abandoned along the trail). my favourite colours are red and toxic green. libraries are super cool. i prefer paperback books to hardcovers. spiders scare me, but snakes are my favourite animal, which some people think is hypocritical. it's not, they're nothing alike.

SNAKESKIN was started on the 12/11/2025 and uploaded to the web on the 06/01/2026. it serves as a way for me to share my art and opinions with the world, without having to depend on algorithms or place my worth on interactions. the site name was chosen because i find it really interesting how snakes can just leave behind a phantom-like self when they shed. i hope this site becomes my snakeskin; a version of me indented into the internet, even when i'm gone. although i love coding, the design of this site is simple to prevent me from obsessively trying to perfect it instead of adding to it. i'm also shit at coding, so keeping it simple makes it easier to code something that's not entirely broken (i hope).

site manifesto

to be added.

if you want to chat, you can write me through email on snakeskinweb @ proton.me! i might take a while to get back to you, but i'll try to respond as soon as i'm able to.
