1. How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?
Still 20?? Awareness of my age doesn't change how old I am, I've still lived for the same amount of time.
2. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don't like and like so many things we don't do?
The current structure of society demands things of us, and we cannot refuse unless we want to risk our own livelihoods. Since we strive to survive, we do it the only way we know how.
By accepting the conditions laid out for us. But that doesn't stop the want, the longing for a life that actually suits us, so we find comfort in things we do not have and may never experience.
3. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
Probably wouldn't get the chance to live any differently, unless the pathways available to us change, too.
4. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
Is that not the same thing? Unless there is some guide to being a supervillian, there's no right way to be wrong. So you could only do the right things right.
5. What's something you know you do differently than most people?
The question is what do I do that's same? I guess if we're speaking literally, I tend to fully obsess to the point of no return on certain things even after watching... only two episodes.
So I guess I get attached easily if something catches my interest. Also I tend to be unable to watch any other movies or shows when I'm obsessed with a movie or show. It can only be it or things
related to it (projects of the cast members, referenced in it, etc.).
6. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What's holding you back?
Bungee jumping. I don't have the money to bungee jump, and I'm not in the right place.
7. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
No, there's nothing in my hands right now.
8. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
Somewhere with snow, where all the seasons are really strong and distinct. I really love all seasons, but they blend too much in Perth, and sometimes it feels like autumn and spring are just
interchanging days of summer and winter, not their own seasons.
9. Why are you, you?
Nature and nurture and maybe determinism.
10. Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?
The former. If I lose touch with a friend living nearby, chances are it's for a reason. We've just grown into different people, or we just don't get along anymore, or there's nothing left to say between us.
11. What are you most grateful for?
Not one thing. It can never be one thing. There shouldn't be a 'most' when it comes to gratefulness.
12. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
I'd rather have retrograde amnesia because it'll hopefully mean I can regain memories through the stories told by others. I think it would be especially difficult to be unable to form new memories, and to have all your old ones still.
Knowing you can never get that back, that the people around you are stuck in the last version you remember of them. What if someone dies, and I think they're alive, because in my latest memory they are? It'd be a very sad thing.
13. Has your greatest fear ever come true?
Yes I saw a big spider.
14. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?
I remember being super sad but I don't remember if it was exactly 5 years ago. I guess it doesn't really matter now but that's cause you gotta focus on your now problems sometimes, not because problems are trivial.
15. What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special?
ONE of them is the lightsaber fights I used to have with my friend and both our sisters. It was our afterschool routine: go to his place, go out to the back house, and just battle until our limbs grew tired or our stubborness retired.
16. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
No I've at least said a few words.
17. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
Yeah, and get some training to get a better job. Maybe do some TAFE courses for metalwork or something.
18. What is the difference between being alive and truly living?
This age old question.
19. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
Live a nomadic life and survive off food I scavage in forests. Or build a home from scratch in the middle of nowhere (the government can't judge me by law, so I can build my house wherever) and start a farm there.
