About the Site
Version One of this website was uploaded to the web on the 6th of January, 2026. Version Two (current) was uploaded on the 3rd of February, 2026. Like most hand-coded, personal websites, this serves as a sacred place for me to share my art and thoughts with the world without being controlled by algorithms or interactions. I may still be screaming into the void, but at least it's a void of my own making, and a pretty one at that.

The site name was chosen because I find it really interesting that snakes can leave behind a phantom-like self whenever they grow or change. I hope this site becomes my snakeskin; a version of me indented into the internet, even when I'm gone. The design of the site is heavily inspired by the paranormal websites that characters look at in shows from the 2000s to early 2010s, such as Supernatural and Nowhere Boys.

Site Manifesto
In the digital world, we are bodiless. But there is a way to give yourself a body, to grow your own limbs, to look exactly how you want. This is it. This website is my body. As long as the internet exists, and as long as the files of this website are stored somewhere, my body will prevail. Maybe with time it'll become more withered, and as coding languages change it'll be a skeleton with many elements missing, but it will still exist. And so will I.

Being on social media does not give you a body. It gives you a stranger's skin to wear and move as your 'own', but there is nothing beneath that. It's suffocating, and as much as you believe you can move it however you want, you are restrained to the stretches of a skin not designed for you. Your autonomy is limited, and the skin is subject to parasites. Ads, AI, trends that make you lose yourself; social media is rife with them, and you are not immune. You are unable to deny what is given to you, and the skin tossed your way doesn't care to be kind. When it's done with you, it will rip itself away from you and you will be gone. Fight this control, give yourself autonomy, give yourself a body. Don't let someone else give you a false one.

There will never be real ads here. AI will never be used in the code or contents of this website. My body will not be infected.

To Live By

  1. Use your hands for their intended purpose; pick up something and create
  2. Don't deny an adventure just because it feels new and daunting
  3. Nature will outlive us; immortalise yourself by caring for it
  4. Stay curious, always keep searching
  5. Follow the sun, the wind, the stars; not trends
  6. Don't limit yourself to one ambition
  7. Look up and live
